In short. Your saved items, lists and pictures stay on your phone and never reach us. For your orders, Sanchi reads only the order emails you choose to forward and the orders you add, keeps the store, item, price and dates, and never keeps your address, phone number, payment details or the email itself. Your data stays in India. No ads, and we never sell your data. You can delete everything at any time.

Kept only on your phone, never sent to us: the products you save and share into Sanchi (the link and the product name the store's share button gives), wishes you say or type, your lists and festive sale lists, the price you saw, and pictures you give, such as screenshots of products, carts and orders, receipt PDFs, the photo of you kept for try on if you choose, and try on pictures. We cannot see them, and uninstalling Sanchi clears them.
We never keep: your delivery address, phone number, card or bank details, the full text of any email, or any email that is not an order email from a store you chose. Personal details inside an order email are removed before anything is saved, and the email itself is discarded as soon as it has been read.
We never access store websites or your store accounts on your behalf.
We process your data on the basis of your consent, given separately for each purpose when you set up Sanchi: reading the order emails you forward, and sending reminders to your phone. Nothing is read before you consent. You can withdraw consent at any time in the app or by writing to us; withdrawal stops the processing from then on and does not affect what happened before.
Only to run Sanchi for you: showing your orders, reminding you before return windows close, telling you when a refund is late, drafting complaint messages that you choose to send, reminding you before a sale you plan for and suggesting your size. We may look at totals across all users, such as how many reminders were useful, without identifying anyone. We do not show ads, we do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Each handles only what it needs for that job. Sanchi AI sees only order text our rules could not read, with personal details removed first, the style photos you choose, with faces blurred, and the facts listed above. It never sees your other pictures, product links or notes. The try on service sees only the two pictures you send for one try on. We share data with authorities only when Indian law requires it.
Your data is stored in India, and encrypted backups are kept in India. Order data stays while your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is deleted from Sanchi straight away and from backups within 14 days. Forwarded emails are never kept at all. What is kept only on your phone stays there until you delete it or uninstall Sanchi.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask for a summary of the data we hold and how we use it, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, withdraw consent, nominate someone to exercise these rights for you, and raise a grievance with us. Deleting your account in the app erases everything we hold in one step. What is kept only on your phone is yours to delete, and uninstalling Sanchi clears it.
Sanchi is for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Data is encrypted in transit and backups are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is limited to the people who run Sanchi. If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
